OUR MUSEUM’S VISION
A small, sustainable museum that makes accessible elements of the cultural heritage of Blaenavon for the enjoyment and benefit of society. The museum, through its various activities, will help sustain a lively, well-informed and wide-ranging debate on the significance of the Blaenavon World Heritage Site and the community of Blaenavon.
WORLD WAR I PIECES
This is one of our many collective pieces: The First World War.
This collection contains the map used by Lance Corporal Christopher Davies, A Will belonging to Pte.C.Davies and the Blaenavon Role of Honor Book "of those who made the Supreme Sacrifice Serving in the Armed Servies within the 20th Century"
This is the display of service artifacts belonging to Sergeant Daniel White Morgan, an array of medals, a certificate for "His Majesty's Forces during the Great World War" and a news article "Honours Gained At The Front"
This is the memorbilia of William John Williams who fought in the second world war. The items include second world war medals, letters, pay book and personal items.
